The Red-Haired Woman
One of the country’s most prominent and best-selling authors weaves a parable of modern-day Turkey by way of miniaturists at the turn of the 16th century. Post-modernists will enjoy the many meta references in this novel (also translated as My Name Is Red), which was cited as one of the reasons for the author winning the 2006 Nobel Prize for Literature.
